The project "Let's get together! Meet us!" (Project No. PPI/WTP/2020/1/00139/U/00001) was implemented under the Welcome to Poland Program, funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. The main goal of this project was to support international students and candidates who decided to study at the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities.
The Welcome Center played a key role in the implementation of activities related to the Welcome to Poland 2020 project. Our goal was to provide students with essential information and support at every stage of their stay at UPH. We were here to assist with formalities, ensure access to necessary information, and support the integration of international students with the local academic community.
As part of the "Let's get together! Meet us!" project, we organized numerous intercultural workshops and open meetings. Our aim was to create an atmosphere of mutual understanding, acceptance, and integration among students from different countries. Intercultural workshops allowed participants to better understand cultural differences and similarities, as well as develop communication skills in a multicultural academic environment. Open meetings were an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences, making new friendships, and building strong social bonds.
Thanks to the "Let's get together! Meet us!" project, we provided international students not only with support in formal matters but also with the opportunity to participate in various events that enriched their student life. We believed that meetings, workshops, and integration activities foster a friendly and open academic community where every student could feel welcome and supported.
